Eaton-Airflex CTE brakes are typically used in:

Airflex CTE drum-style brakes are spring-applied, air-released, and develop greater torque than the Type CS. Their design and construction are ideal for moderate-speed, high-torque, cyclic applications. The brake is bi-directional, developing approximately the same torque in either direction of drum rotation.
